Our journey began with aluminum pots and cookware, with the caldero quickly becoming the flagship product for the brand. IMUSA´s influence extended globally, ultimately making its mark in the United States.
IMUSA USA was established in 2006 to cater to the cooking needs and tastes of all Hispanic and Ethnic consumers across the US. With the experience of the US team, the excellent segmentation capabilities, and meeting the diverse needs of the Hispanic consumer with distinctive, competitive, and high-quality products, Imusa became the number one brand in the Latino market in the cookware category.
We endure as the go-to culinary companion for the Hispanic community, preserving cultural gastronomy, and adapting to modern lifestyles for over 90 years. Our expansion into kitchen utensils, electric appliances, cleaning, coffee, and specialty items positions IMUSA as a “One Stop Shop” in the general merchandise category, providing complete support to the Latino community.
Our Imusa story began back in Colombia in 1934 with the founded name of IMUSA, which comes from Industrias Metalúrgicas S.A.
It all started with an aluminium pot and a vision of providing good traditional quality cookware.

Then after so much success in South America. In 2006 IMUSA USA was born thanks to founders of the Gaunard Group and now president Raul Corzo.
IMUSA USA began its partnership with Colombia-based IMUSA and decided on designing. producing and selling a wide variety of cookware and small kitchen appliances to retailers in all the UNited States and Canada and reach every corner market to big Retailers.
IMUSA’s Mission is to tailor to the cooking needs and tastes of different Hispanic, Asian and other communities by providing quiality products.
In 2011, IMUSA was acquired by French’s Groupe SEB, a major international manufacturer of small domestic appliances and cookware.
In addition to IMUSA, Groupe SEB sells Mirro, WearEver, Moulinex, Krups, Tefal, All-Clad, Samurai and other lines.
Driven by new technology, IMUSA advances in quality and materials, staying competitive and efficient while meeting the evolving preferences of different Hispanic generations.
